Hi
Has anyone succesfully run this script on Zimbra 7.0 ose?
Kind regards Anders
Hi
I’m currently looking into the service startup/shutdown issue and should have a solution available within the next few days.
Regards
Marcus
I’m currently running it on 7.1.0.
There are a new version of this script on it’s way out with major bugfix for differential backups, so if you use current version do not use diff backup as it is broken.
The new version will arrive in a day or two after some testing.
Regards
Marcus
Version 1.0.4 works on version 7.1.0 of Zimbra Collaboration Suite OSE.
Just ran a full backup with the new script (1.0.4) on Release 7.0.0_GA_3077.UBUNTU10_64 UBUNTU10_64 FOSS edition.
All services came up as they should:)
Thanks Anders
Thanks for the information, glad it’s working again.
Hi Marcus
Question about restoring. Is a –diff backup always relating to the last –full backup
Example:
I do a –full backup monday and a –diff backup tuesdag and wednesday. My system crashes on thursday. So besides being unpopular and busy, what do i do? Do I do a –full restore and then restore tuesdays -diff and then wednesdays –diff, or a –full restore and then wednesdays -diff?
Best regards Anders
